Theatrical performances

On the ground floor of Palazzo Magnani there are two stages that are constantly animated by "performances" and "theatrical actions" curated by the Carlo Colla & Figli puppet company from Milan and the 5T association from Reggio Emilia.

Both the exhibition and the performance are included in the ticket.

One room will be for puppetry manipulated from above, the second for puppetry manipulated from below.

Long-bearded devils and wizards, the witch Morgana and her enchanted forest, where our heroes will have to overcome trials and traps to find the miraculous water, and then again Harlequin and Columbine, who will have to deal with the ghosts of Vallecupa Castle... At the end of the journey, we will be able to see up close the masks of Italian tradition and discover the tricks and magic of the ancient art of puppetry.

The classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood told and animated in an unusual way. A museum janitor stands in front of the audience waiting for the late puppeteer. He "improvises" his version of C.R. using the tools of his trade... bins, sacks, bags, "recycled objects" of various kinds.

Atti unici che vedono l'intramontabile eroe bolognese Fagiolino coinvolto in mille peripezie ed avventure. Fra guizzi e lazzi, scherzi e trabocchetti il nostro protagonista, accompagnato dall'immancabile spalla Sganapino, si troverà ad affrontare varie imprese, sempre col cattivo di turno pronto a prendersi gioco di loro. Fagiolino, Sganapino, Sandrone, il Dottor Balanzone, e tante altre maschere della Commedia dell'Arte, insieme a Diavoli, Maghi e Streghe sono i caratteristici personaggi della tradizione che solcheranno la scena.
